About Area 21

Area 21 was founded in May of 2022 by the Elmos Semiconductor SE. The initial team was build up with Elmos software experts in October 2022. Area 21 has employees with many years of experience in managing, designing and testing software to enhance functionality of Elmos ICs. The main focus is on building embedded software for the automotive industry in close cooperation with the Elmos hardware development.

Youre interested in

• Supporting software developers in configuring and managing development tools
• Assisting in the implementation and optimization of methods (e.g., traceability & coverage according to Automotive SPICE)
• Supporting the further development and optimization of CI/CD/CT pipelines

Your qualities are

• Enrolled student in (technical) computer science, data science, electrical engineering or a comparable field of study
• Basic knowledge of software development, preferably with embedded systems
• Initial Programming experience in a scripting language like Python
• Analytical and systematic thinking
• Independent and structured way of working
• Strong teamwork skills
