Unterföhring: Working Student - Crisis Management (m/f/d)

We are seeking a motivated and committed Working Student to join our Crisis Management team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in crisis management and related fields, while supporting our team in various tasks and projects.

What you do

• Assist in the development and implementation of crisis management program, including crisis management plans and global procedures.
• Help set up and keep the crisis management training program running smoothly.
• Support the planning and execution of crisis simulation exercises.
• Assist in creating and sharing reports after exercises to improve our processes.
• Support in the preparation of presentations and reports using MS PowerPoint and MS Word.
• Analyze data and create reports using MS Excel.
• Participate in project management activities.
• Assist in maintaining and enhancing tools used for crisis management.
• Conduct research and provide insights on crisis management and resilience-related topics.
• Assist in organizing and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and work objectives.

What you bring

• Currently pursuing a university degree in a relevant discipline such as disaster/emergency management, risk management, international security, business administration, political science, or management.
• Very good analytical and conceptual skills.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Strong influencing, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations.
• Familiarity with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
• Profound interest in crisis management and resilience-related topics.
• Capability to build collaborative working relationships in virtual, international, and complex team environments.
• Advanced proficiency in both written and spoken English.
