Your role

Reporting directly to the Regional Talent Manager EAME, this is a full-time position based at our Global Headquarters in Holzminden, Germany.

You will be part of the EAME Talent Management Department. Your primary responsibility is to lead and manage approximately 140 apprentices across 15 training professions at Symrise's German sites, including Holzminden, Braunschweig and Nördlingen. 

You will oversee programs for dual students and graduates, ensuring modern, needs-based training across all German locations of Symrise AG and its subsidiaries, Symotion and Tesium. You will support apprentices and dual students throughour their journey - from entry to potential employement - while serving as the key contact for trainers and managers on topics such as applicant selection, onboarding and training matters. 

The role also supports Talent Management initiatives rolled out by the EAME region in Germany. You will coordinate training activities in compliance with legal requirements and serve as the main liasion for 12 training officers and practical trainers. 

• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with educational institutions and internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality, practical training.
• Engaging in training marketing and recruiting activities to position Symrise as an attractive training partner.
• Continuous improvement of training processes and digitalization efforts.
• Strategic and operational collaboration with local program managers in other EAME region countries.
• Actively support and implement the EAME Talent Management projects in Germany.

About you

• You successfully completed your University Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a similar subject.
• You have at least 8 years of working experience within Human Resources for example as HR Business Partner, Training Manager or in a similar position.
• You have an industry background, ideally from the chemical industry.
• You have proven work experience in German labor law and the Berufsbildungsgesetz.
• You have extensive experience with the German Universities and Schooling environment.
• You are an experienced user of all MS-Office tools such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc.
• You are fluent in both German and English spoken and in writing.
