Intern (m/f/d) Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Our international and agile team is searching for a motivated intern (m/f/d) MBSE. You can expect to help create a new company-wide process according to the Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodology in a framework of a pilot project. The goal is to explore MBSE tools and the deployment of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP), and its application to existing launcher and ground site systems, ensuring full coverage of systems engineering principles (requirements, test cases, risk assessments). Your Tasks
- Explore possible options for the application of a practical MBSE-based process, taking into consideration the company's processes and requirements
- Propose, develop and validate an MVP by applying it to existing or future systems
- Prepare a trade-off analysis of MBSE vs traditional tools
- Deploy the process and associated workflow on a company-wide level
Your Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree in Aerospace/Mechanical, Electrical, or Process engineering
- Programming experience with a focus on integration and automation (Python, SQL, GitLab)
- Practical experience with SysML tools (Capella or open-source tools)
- Practical experience in understanding and deploying MBSE processes
- Knowledge of MBSE applied to the space industry is a plus (not mandatory)
- Ability to work effectively and independently
- The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Fluent oral and written English skills (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
