Basel: Trainee Post Market Surveillance

This internship is a great opportunity to get exposure and first hands on experience in post-market surveillance which is one of the most audited topics of medical device quality management (in accordance with ISO 13485; 21 CFR 820; Regulation (EU) 2017/745 (EU MDR); ISO 14971).

Tasks will involve but not limited to:

• Support the Post Market Surveillance (PMS) department by performing complaints trend reporting including statistical analysis

• Perform customized and on-demand PMS data reports for internal customers such as regulatory or clinical.

• Be involved in the Post Market Evaluation Board as a support for the PMS team and perform PMS investigations when required.

• Provide support for interdisciplinary projects involving risk management, product safety or complaint handling.

Profile: 

• Currently working towards a Bachelor or Master's degree in Life Science / Engineering or equivalent or recent graduate. 
• First experience in Data analysis and /or statistic is a plus
• (Theoretical) Knowledge in quality management advantageous
• Excellent MS office knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Fluent (written and spoken) English; French or German or any other additional language are of advantage
• Quality conscious 
• Precise and detailed oriented with the needed balance to move tasks forward in an agile and decisive way where appropriate
• Curious to learn and grow
• Distinct persuasiveness, communicative and professional, independent and team-oriented work behavior
