Job Description

For our central department for purchasing of logistics services at our location in Stuttgart-Feuerbach, we are looking for interested and motivated intern starting from 07.15. 2025 for a 6-month internship. Our department is responsible for the purchasing of external logistics services like transports (airfreight, sea freight, overland transports), packaging materials and warehouses for the Bosch Group worldwide. Our headquarter in Stuttgart-Feuerbach is steering the global organization and defining the purchasing strategies. We offer an international and innovative working environment, a strategic overview, and a high number of interfaces to internal and external business partners.  

  • From the first day, you will be working with contracts related to purchasing of Warehousing Services
  • You will learn and work in the key purchasing area of supplier scouting, scope document creation, sending and receiving RFQs and reporting.
  • Furthermore, you will be supporting the buyers with the project management tasks and milestones.
  • You will follow up department wide projects and initiatives of Purchasing.
  • In addition, you will be working with digital tools like I source, SRM, & outlook
  • Last but not least, you are the support for our global and regional buyers in Europe, North and Latin America, Asia and India.

Qualifications

  • Education: studies in the course of (technical) Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, Business Development, Mathematics, etc. with a specific focus on purchasing, logistics, supply chain management or comparable
  • Experience and Knowledge: good MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.), experience with PowerBI or comparable IT solutions would be a plus.
  • Personality and Working Practice: independent, structured, conscientious, communicative, flexible, resilient
  • Language: very good communication skills in English are required, basic German would be beneficial

Additional Information

Start: July 15th, 2025
Duration: 6 months

Requirement for this mandatory internship is the enrollment at university. Please attach your CV, transcript of records, enrollment certificate, examination regulations and if indicated a valid work and residence permit.
