The Opportunity
Join our team to develop innovative zinc-catalyzed methods for sulfonamide synthesis. You will optimize reactions for high yields and sustainability, incorporating green chemistry principles. Contribute to advancing medicinal chemistry, enhance drug discovery pipelines, and promote environmentally friendly practices. Requires expertise in organic synthesis. Be part of a collaborative team driving innovation and sustainability in pharmaceuticals. Successful candidates may have the opportunity to publish their work in peer-reviewed journals.
Who You Are
You are enrolled or have completed your Master’s studies at a university, preferably in the field of organic chemistry within the last 12 months and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship of at least 3 months and getting to know the pharmaceutical industry.
Furthermore, you are
Experience working in a synthetic organic chemistry laboratory
Knowledge of analytical and purification techniques (NMR, HPLC, LCMS,...)
Excellent organizational skills and accuracy in experimental documentation.
Good communication skills and fluency in English. Knowledge of German/French may be of advantage.
Teamwork/Interpersonal skills.
