The Opportunity

We are a group of scientists working in Chemistry R&D at Roche Diagnostics and Pharma driving the implementation of digital and automation solutions to accelerate our synthesis pipeline. The project will research digital solutions in Diagnostics R&D, with an emphasis on improving efficiency, reducing repetitive tasks, and enabling data analysis and machine learning. Join us if you want to challenge yourself in a new area, have the opportunity to make a significant impact on efficiency and sustainability within R&D and build a network in a global healthcare company. 

Who You Are

You are enrolled or have completed your Master’s studies at a university, preferably in the field of life sciences (i.e. (bio)chemistry or biology), computer science or IT within the last 12 months and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship of at least 3 months and getting to know the pharmaceutical industry.

Furthermore you are

• Experienced in and interested in the field of life sciences, especially (bio-)chemistry.

• Open-minded, conscientious, independent attitude and driven by solving problems.

• Effective communication and proactive engagement with colleagues.

• English language skills are required, German is a plus.

• Experienced in data collection and formatting; coding/ programming (required) and Python, is a plus.
