About this Position 2-year traineeship in Corporate Communications & Public Affairs (Volontariat). Over the course of the traineeship, you will get to know different areas of communications in a rotating approach (e.g. External Communications, Internal Communications, Digital Strategy & Experience, Corporate Branding & Communication Strategy, Public Affairs & Governmental Relations, Regional Steering).
What youll do
- Insights in communication strategies and tools of a globally operating company and involvement in a wide range of national and international projects, events and activities
- Tasks include creating and editing content such as articles, video formats, podcasts etc. for various external and internal media and publications such as newsletters, press releases, our external Spotlight magazine, our global intranet, our social media channels, etc.
- Responsibility for various and changing projects and support of the Corporate Communications & Public Affairs team in their daily work
- Temporary assignments (“outstations”) based on your personal interests at external partners such as communications agencies or consultancies, and/or in other Henkel departments
- Work in
a highly motivated and experienced team as well as together with fellow
communication trainees
- Successfully completed studies in communications or journalism or similar studies related to business or politics
- Practical job experience in content management and/or content creation, e.g. in journalism and/or corporate communications advantageous
- Excellent English skills on a native speaker level. German speaking and writing skills are a plus
- Interest in professional journalistic work
- Good communication skills, an inquiring mind, high adaptability, unbounded enthusiasm, and a hands-on attitude
- Creativity, initiative and energy, self-dependent person and team player
