Join the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Team in Frankfurt and contribute to the global roll-out of our TPRM framework, ensuring compliance with the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and other relevant outsourcing regulations.
In this role, you will support project coordination and team activities with a focus on legal and regulatory tasks. You will gain practical experience in regulatory compliance, IT law, operational risk, and project management within a dynamic, international environment.
The internship is offered for a minimum duration of 4 months, preferably 6 months or longer, with the possibility of continuing as a working student thereafter.
What you will do
- Support the team in project activities related to the implementation of the global TPRM process
- Conduct legal research on regulatory topics such as DORA, outsourcing, and third-party risk management
- Track relevant updates from supervisory authorities (e.g., BaFin, ESMA) and prepare summaries and legal documentation
- Assist in organizational and strategic tasks through qualitative and quantitative analyses (e.g., improvement of tracking, assessment and reporting metrics)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Protection and Resilience, Risk Management, and Business teams
- Prepare training materials and documentation to strengthen internal awareness and knowledge of TPRM
- Help develop presentations for internal and executive stakeholders, including for Risk Committees, Auditors and Board-level reporting.
What you bring
- Advanced Bachelor's or Master’s student in Business Law, Law studies, Legal Informatics, or a related field
- Prior internship or working student experience in a law firm, legal department, regulatory body, or similar environment required
- Strong interest in regulatory topics (e.g., DORA, outsourcing law), IT law, and Risk Management
- Proactive, structured, and independent working style with the ability to analyze complex topics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German is a strong plus
- Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and MS Teams
- Basic technical understanding or interest (e.g., PowerApps, Python, SQL) is an asset but not essential.
